Ross Barnhart is the present vice president of CoADE. He currently works as the Learning Center Director at Pueblo Community College. His prior work history includes teaching mathematics at the community college level, academic advising, testing, and research at an Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
His education includes a Bachelors in Mathematics from Colorado College, a Masters in Education (Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration) from the University of Vermont, and a year of graduate coursework in Biostatistics at the University of Washington.
Ross maintains a comfortable home for his cats, Sparky and Alex. He tries to live as "utility free" as possible, having installed solar panels on his condo, as well as a tankless water heater. Ross' hobbies include volunteer work (which is how he got elected as CoADE Vice President), including HIV-prevention related work and raising scholarship funds for the Pueblo Community College Foundation. Ross once played volleyball for 48-hours straight in a failed attempt to make the Guinness Book of World Records.
